Rowlee's always at the right place at the right time.
These little serigraphs are part of a series called "Sophisticated Provincials" by a Californian artist named Margo Alexander. Dated from 1948-1954, her folk-inspired minimalism reminds me of Mary Blair, which drew me to these in the first place.

ReplyDeleteyeah they're usually chill on the couch. mike doesn't mind at all. when they're bad, they gnaw on the couch leg but we snuff that out each time.
